Current Employee – been working at Nordstrom full-time for less than a year
Pros – Cafe is right in the store, air conditioned, Fashion environment, in the mall all day while at work, meet new people (customers).
Cons – Very competitive, fellow co workers will try to steal your customers, tension created between coworkers because of competition, pressure to sell sell sell, managers don't care about your personal life, no cell phone on floor, too many sales people working at the same time creating a tense environment for customers.
Advice to Senior Management – Stop scheduling all the sales people to work the same day can be too much for the customers and yeilds for a hectic working environment.
