    I have been working at Nordstrom full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    The pay, the location, the people, the one golden rule ("Use good judgment"),

    Cons

    Your feet may hurt from working so much but it's worth it!

    I have been working at Nordstrom full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    * Excellent on-boarding learning (prior to on-floor selling),
    * 95% of employees across the organization are helpful, hopeful and honest...rare in a public company
    * Cross selling is encouraged!
    * Technology (iPhone, email, text) approach to clienteling...smart
    * Monthly catalog great opportunity to connect with clients

    Cons

    * Health coverage benefit needs to be explained a few times...I have never had to actively record my working hours... to be sure that I was entitled to insurance.Said another way, if my clocking in was less than a full time employee (every two weeks), I was found ineligible for insurance benefits....
    * Fashion merchandising point of view redundant- across all departments

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    What happened with the Fall 2012 Fashion catalog (blue coat on cover)? Not inspiring or cohesive- per my clients

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
