    Pros

    They will train and train and train you if you feel you need it. If you don't they will empower you to do the job and not micro manage you

    Hours, not getting schedule for Sunday and the following week until the Thursday before

    When employees have been with the company for years that is often a great sign, but sometimes management needs to pay attention an weed out the people that should have been gone years ago also, please do schedule for 2 weeks, it is EXTREMELY difficult to plan your life if you don't find out what your're working for the following week until Thursday.

    I worked at Nordstrom full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Everyone is very focused on sales and serving each customer with the best customer service possible. It is also very rewarding when you are able to help a customer leave the store with what the were looking for plus more merchandise to help your own commission sales.

    Cons

    Difficult to help angry customers.
