Former Employee – worked at Nordstrom full-time for less than a year
Pros – Great company. Lots of opportunity to move around if you have a great manager. They genuinely care about their employees and empower you to make a lot of decisions. They also are closed on major holidays unlike some other retailers.
Cons – If you have a bad department manager you're screwed out of a lot of opportunities. Worked long hours and lots of weekends. Commission sales are great except Nordstrom's flexible return policy can hurt you sometimes.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
