Pros

- Good pay.
- Management understands their customers and their employees.
- Outstanding benefits including discount on merchandise.
- Co-workers treat each other with respect.
- Ability to advance based on your own ability.

Cons

- There are not many downsides to working at Nordstrom. Perhaps the biggest is that to advance in the company you will need to be better at your job than your peers. Because you are working side by side with some very talented individuals, this is not easy to do.

Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing.

    Pros

ability to create on business and manage self and time.

    Cons

new customer connections are highly divided up by favorites, so if you're not loved- you're not getting new customers.

    Advice to Management

train your team and assess their true talent instead of hiring based on how someone dresses.
