I worked at Nordstrom as a contractor (less than an year)

Pros

I worked as a seasonal associate for two season. I had plenty of time off and a pretty set schedule which was nice. I did have an opportunity to see what it would be like to be a full time employee, the classes offered for professional development seemed to help my coworkers.

Cons

Sometimes the management team was not in tune with personnel issues.

Approves of CEO

I have been working at Nordstrom full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I didn't get to experience any of the pro's as they don't apply to the kitchen, the PTO accumulates decently I guess.

    Cons

The money, the management, the hours, being treated more like a dog than a person.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Care about your kitchen workers, pay them enough to at least afford groceries and some basic bills. Also enable growth of kitchen employees

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
