Current Employee – been working at Nordstrom
Pros – Pay is excellent compared to other retail companies
Cons – No flexibilty when it comes to scheduliing
They rank co-workers against each other using the rankings as a means of distributing hours
Do as I say not as I do attitude of managemet
Favoritetism abounds
Advice to Senior Management – Due away with the archaic system of ranking non commisioned employees against with other. It breeds contempt amongst co-workers who are supposed to work together as a team to carry-out the goals of the company.
