I have been working at Nordstrom Rack

Pros

My co workers was the only thing that I misses

Cons

The mangement team run around like chickens with there heads cut off. They are very stereotypical toward any AFRICAN AMERICAN shopper. The store manager was so fake and blunt toward employees. It was a very favoritism type of work place. I hate and I would recommend nordstrom rack dallas galleria on the parkway to no one

I have been working at Nordstrom Rack full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Great starting pay for a retail position. Friendly co-workers and management.

    Cons

Very repetitive job. Change schedules without telling employees. Position isn't quite 40 hours a week. Managers have little training or no real training. Long hours. Have to ask your managers to take breaks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Interact with your employees more. Contribute more to your team. Show direction. Instead of always complaining, be interactive and lead by example.
