Former Employee - Lab Tech in Raleigh, NC

I worked at North Carolina State University part-time for more than a year

Pros

Employees (and students!) are quite willing to help and collaborate when needed. I actually never encountered a staff member or faculty member that I didn't enjoy speaking with and/or working with.

The campus is gorgeous and fun to traverse (despite being so large). Raleigh is also a great tight-knit city.

Cons

It was only a part-time job and there was no real option to move into a full-time position (not that I expected there to be).
