North Kansas City Hospital Employee Review

Former Employee – worked at North Kansas City Hospital part-time for more than 3 years

Pros – The benefits are good. The hospital does a good job of making sure employees have great access to healthcare at a good price. The cafeterias are great. The smaller cafe makes dinner items to take home and entire holiday dinners. The parking garages are covered and safe. Security does a great job keeping the work environment safe.

Cons – Communication. The communication approach is definitely top down bottom up. Individual contributions are not encouraged. There is a definite lack of business processes and procedures. The lack of written documentation causes frequent rework. There is a fair amount of gossip, even in management.

Advice to Senior Management – Keep trying to implement better business processes. Written communication works well.
