I worked at Northern Trust full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Good Starting Salary.
    Young Energetic Employees.
    Feels more like a college.

    Cons

Work Timings - Can be mostly night shift (US Timings).
    Not much seriousness in work.
No growth - especially in salary.
    Management not very skilled.
Will never even try to retain back the employees when they leave the org.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Retain employees instead of hiring new ones.
Indian Management - Do not nod your head for anything & everything that is said from US counterparts.

I have been working at Northern Trust full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Great overall benefits - 10% company contribution to the RRSP with no employee contribution required

    Cons

Small office so very little chance for career advancement
Raises and bonuses are pathetic (2013 there is no raise at all)
    Management communication is non existent
    Losing more clients than gaining
    Office morale is horrible

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give employees a raise to at least match the cost of living increase.
Bonuses are a joke - Make it worthwhile to show that employees are valued
Communicate openly with the office on what is going on with the business

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
