Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Oklahoma City, OK

    Pros

Large company that is doing very well in the defense market.
Top of the line innovative technologies have been made by this company.

    Cons

Slipping employee focus has resulted in the lowering of benefits, and more focus on shareholder wealth than the betterment of employees. While the matrix structure of management can be useful, Northrop uses it poorly. The emotional feel is becoming bitter toward management because of the calculated cold treatment of employees. The vision of this company seems limited.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Remember who is getting things done and solving the problems in your company. The emotional feel is becoming bitter toward management because of the calculated cold treatment of employees. Make a point to promote a high vision for employees. If Northrop Grumman keeps on trying to play with the big aerospace companies instead of trying to lead them, we will never get ahead, and never be the best.

    Doesn't Recommend
