    Pros

There is nothing to beat the mission of what we do. It's very gratifying to do this kind of work.

    Cons

Their matrix structure is terrible. They have terrible taste in picking front line and middle managers. The benefits have been going down hill too.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fix the benefits, fire the managers.

    Pros

If you're working in the Virginia/Baltimore area you have plenty of opportunities. The company is weighed down by heritage issues.

    Cons

If you're anywhere other than the east coast you're not part of the "in crowd" and will have limited opportunities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn how to include remote employees in opportunities. Coach managers in performance management.
