I worked at Northrop Grumman full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Worked on a project that was actually utilized by the company. Team was very focused and engaged on helping me feel welcome and understand how things ran at the company.

    Cons

Usually work on only one project as an intern which is predictable, but success is oriented on the outcome of that project.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to invest in interns because they are potentially the future employees if they are given the chance to come back and actually decide too.

    Pros

Aerospace Technology Leader ( for now )
Quality of the people you work with
    Improving Work-Life Balance

    Cons

Current reductions and actual furloughs underway.
Outlook will not be good until late 2014 /2015 time frame.
    Limited opportunities for promotion.
Thanks to rising cost of doing business in California ,expect new programs to be based in Southeast.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You are trying so hard to be recognized as an Information Systems company you are marginalizing your traditional aerospace employees. Don't forget them.
