I have been working at Northrop Grumman full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

Great company to work for when the government awards contracts to NorthropGrumman. Close to home.

Cons

Relies on Government contracts. If no contracts are awarded then personnel is downsized. Long Island suffers because they are moving to Florida.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Top management is moving this great company to Florida so what happens to everyone who lives on Long Island. What a shame.

I have been working at Northrop Grumman as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Steady pay, nothing else to say.

    Cons

Lack of local management control (upper management controls everything), constant firings, too many people contracted instead of being hired directly, etc. Just another tyranny.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop giving orders from above when you clearly don't know what's happening below.
