Pros

Northrop talks a good game. They claim to be a diverse workplace that values women and minorities. Don't believe it. Its for show.

Cons

Women may be at the upper levels for the public eye, but the reality is that there are exceptionally few women in management. They will low ball your salary. They will low ball your promotions. They lie. They overwork everyone, promise the world, never deliver. Their benefits have dropped significantly.

Advice to Management

Your HR people do more to demotivate employees than keep them. Your promotional policies are antiquated. You are still an ex-military old boys club. You say you want to attract youth - but you do nothing to support that claim.

    Pros

Tons of work activities, Connect1NG, full paid tuition, lots of different places and things to work on. Great place to start your career. PDP program. GREAT benefits

    Cons

When things are slow, they drag. If you get stuck on a bad program, you will either have nothing to do or get fired. Company tends to overhire then fire. They also tend to bid the Cadillac when the Ford will do (and that's what the government wants).

    Advice to Management

Give more lateral movements to your current employees.

So far somewhat lacking, it is a great company, but some just things never change.

    Pros

    Great company with great people

    Cons

People need to be fired, and they will not. Keeping the bad apples around makes for a bad day.
