    Pros

Strong institution with solid financial strength and a high-quality basic product of life insurance. After a great deal of careful analysis, I bought a policy myself. Their fiscal and investments performance in the meltdown of 2008 was stellar.

    Cons

Very "Mad Men" environment -- the Associates are nothing more than secretaries, regardless of education, experience, or credentials, and the culture is stuck in the 1960s, with all that that implies. Very surprising and disappointing to someone coming from a large corporate background.

    Advice to Management

This franchisee organization is starting to learn the "patter" of diversity and inclusion, but the reality is something altogether different, especially in the network offices, and signs of change are surface-level only.

    Pros

Beautiful office, friendly atmosphere, and great training program.

    Cons

It is sink or swim. You are given the training and you have a development specialist, but if you are not doing well, you are not making any money.

    Advice to Management

There should be more stipends for people just starting out or possibly a draw.
