Just an awful place to work.

I worked at Northwestern Mutual

Pros

No pros, except that the company as a whole is good. Northwestern is an amazing company, but not the Seery group. They are the agency in WHite Plains.

Cons

Awful management. Awful structure. Just terrible teamwork. They do not want you to succeed and the level of turnover is awful. people are in and out all the time. The firm is not doing well, and the amount of people staying there is so slim. People al compain about how miserable they are.

    Pros

They provide a lot of support in terms of training and development.

    Cons

All insurance company works like this: you are your own boss, you have to rent your own desk even, and you have to pay for everything that you print, your photo copy and everything else. they will try to train you to become a "financial advisor" no matter what.
