I worked at Northwestern Mutual

Pros

-Good People
-A common respect shared with everyone
-Pay can be very high if you tough it out

Cons

-Can be expensive to start
-No Salary whatsoever
-Small "incentive" package to get you started
-Can be hard to convince people to save money for a rainy day when it is raining outside

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Overall good Job and good communication between management and the people in the network. Just like any other company, there can be mis-communications, but it is an overall good environment to work for if you have a good contact list and are ready to work 70 hours+.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

there is definitely good help at the firm for you, although sometimes they are more interested in their own practice than helping you
