Not enough space

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

I worked at Northwestern University

Pros

-the supervision and clinical case consultation were excellent
-there were professional development opportunities regularly scheduled, both in-house as well as opportunities for training outside the Institute

Cons

The Family Institute is really pressed for space--it's often difficult to get an office (because you're competing with other therapists)

I have been working at Northwestern University full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

a lot of very smart people. a lot of resources, great facilities. The profs are great and the lectures are very useful. The grad students dorms are horrible and expensive. it is better to live out of campus

    Cons

The social life is not that great. Maybe the grad school could organize more vents for students. The grad students dorms are horrible and expensive. it is better to live out of campus
