I worked at Northwood University part-time

Pros

Very good position to have if you want to get to know the higher-ups of NU. Average pay for a college student in a part time job.

Cons

There were no specific negative reasons that I had while working at NU.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend a little less on athletics and more on programs that matter and actually get people jobs, like Auto Show.

    Pros

Work schedule is flexible. Great colleagues are professional and always willing to share. They offer many opportunities to learn and develop new skills.

    Cons

Adjunct work is by contract, so no job stability and no benefits. Daily commute times can be long, depending on location of teaching assignment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Staff and colleagues are professional and always ready to assist - keep up the good work! Consider reimbursement for mileage on commutes over 75 miles.
