Pros

You can make as much money as you are willing to put work in. Fun environment and cruise perks

Cons

Long hours, specially during "wave" season which is between January and March. Even though you are not required if you really want to make money you have to be willing to work weekends and extended hours.

Advice to Management

For the most part management is great. Kevin Sheehan (CEO) is a genius. There are some team leaders however who choose to micromanage which is not good for department morale and productivity.

    Pros

You get to travel all over the world and you get to work with people--both crew and guests-- from all over the world as well.

    Cons

You have to deal with racism, favouritism, rude people, no days off and conflicting priorities from shipboard and shoreside management. If you an officer it is easier than if you are at the lower levels of employment such as galley or utility.

    Advice to Management

Treat the crew as well as you treat the guests
