Locally, the senior manager, work/life balance, dogs in the office

Cons

Lack of network communication, lack of consistency and commitment when it came to corporate vision, disjointed strategy

    Pros

Good local leadership teams in some offices. Some very smart people in select positions. Good work/life balance.

    Cons

No real strategy for the company as a whole. Uninspiring corporate leadership. Flexible work schedules are an ongoing issue. Too much top-down management; corporate doesn't seem to see the value in basic strategic principles of leadership and innovation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Changing the way you work, think and lead is critical if you want to succeed in the US market; otherwise the company will be continually beaten by the competition.

I worked at Nurun full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

excellent office in Paris (an old balloon factory), cool people, some projects are really a good mix of creation and technology

    Cons

Really hard-working on a few accounts, narrow-minded and control-freak GM, a lack of commitment from experts in a such horizontal structure, just bought by Publicis

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to improve you HR skills which are amongst the lowest I've seen in the business world, Managing is not controlling every detail but giving a vision, help your ressources to evolve instead of letting them where it is practical for you, be humble
