I worked at Nutrisystem full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

It is possible to make some decent money during busy season in the sales department, depending on your department.

Cons

Toxic, cut throat, work environment. No opportunity for advancement, prefers to hire from outside. Easiest place ever to get fired from. HUGE turnover. Management constantly looking for ways to lower salaries of employees. Seems to be trying to get rid of all employees and just let automation handle everything. Only plan for future, retail grocery sales.

I have been working at Nutrisystem full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay and benefits are good. Nice building and location. Employees are good people.

    Cons

Kids running the departments and know very little about business. Lack of respect for call center employees. High turn over rate. Promise paid holidays but actually mandate you to work them (never close even during state of emergencies). No or little company bonuses. Career growth never happens unless you "kiss butt". Lay offs happen every year. Impossible to get day shift. HR is for the company and not the employees! Too much gossip and breaking code of conduct from management. The list goes on....

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire them all and hire experienced managers who can be team p,ayers. Huge separation in employees and managers and everyone should be working together. Actually apperciate the workers it will go along way for company growth!!!

I have been working at Nutrisystem full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Gym on site that never gets used because you want to get out of that building as soon as possible. Some nice coworkers

    Cons

Micro managed, horrible corporate culture. You could ask 3 manager the same question and get 3 different answers. Company stock is plummeting and they will do anything to not have to pay you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fix the culture by firing your supervisors through VP's and start over. They are the most negative people ever and need to get out of their little social club and realize to run a profitable business you need the front line people to care about the company.
