Pros

If you like auto parts this is one of the better places to get them. prices are fair . get a decent discount. great people to work with

Cons

Hard work goes unrecognized. hope to hell you can get a 30% in related sales. Dont expect to be hired full time ever. schedules are rarely ever the same.

Advice to Management

Show the people you work with appreciation. Pay people what they are worth.

    Pros

It's a growing company with opportunity for advancement. Compensation is fair with benefits at or above average for the auto parts field.

    Cons

Store managers don't work the 55 hour workweek as is promised; I currently work 70-75 hours a week and there is no end in sight. My District Manager has unrealistic expectations and comes down hard on all managers and doesn't allow any time off (earned vacation, etc) saying your job must come before your family, your health, above everything!

    Advice to Management

If District and Regional Management was policed and not allowed to overwork, threaten, and generally abuse store managers, it would be a great place to work. I can't believe that VPs or RVP's are aware of this kind of abuse at the district level and wish they would put a stop to it.

    Pros

    Laid back development environment.
Very nice, experienced, and awesome people to work with.
Springfield is a nice small town with a big town feel. Great place to live.

    Cons

The development environment does not provide a lot of room for growth or for developing ones skill set.
    The pay is not competitive.
They have been hiring a lot of inept contract workers to fill a void that would not have existed in the first place if the IS department was put in a better light.

    Advice to Management

You want to keep your developers? Well, start paying them a competitive pay rate.
