I worked at OCP

Pros – In a word, the people. Musicians, printers, artists, writers, accountants, journalists, programmers, you name it, all working together in a unique environment. Most are there because they want to contribute something to the Church or work in nonprofits. Personal growth is valued, and there's a concerted effort by General Management to embrace change and include staff whenever possible. A plus? The building itself sits right next to Normandale Park, is near many great restaurants, and is centrally located to many parts of the metro area.

Cons – The culture can be intimidating. Information is passed on on a "need to know" basis which can give the appearance of secrecy. Trust is hard to earn and not easily given between departments or management and staff (both directions). Opportunities for professional growth have been hard to come by in recent years.
