Pros

-Stable company that is willing to try new ideas
-Various free events, food, gear, snacks, commuter checks
-Excellent challenges and opportunities for software design
-Limited market competition

Cons

-Limited resources for big projects
-Somewhat of "start-up" mentality that is rough if not experienced and highly motivated

Advice to Management

Work smarter not harder, invest in employee education and get people with the right skills for the job. Don't be too greedy in trying to do everything right now.

    Pros

Next to ball park. Love baseball. There is a beer party on friday's.
first few months you learn new stuff and that's that.
after that you will be doing the same thing.
    They give commuter passes.

    Cons

I graduated from SFSU. They hire cheap interns from SFSU, and pay them really low. They do all the support work. They dont seem to understand that their career is heading nowhere. Why get a bachelor's degree to do support work.
The whole company is owned by a single guy. plans keep changing according to him. The CEO fires anyone at will. No compensation is given.
    Really low salary.
absolutely no work from home even for a day.
leaving before 6:30 PM is looked down.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees well. Pay them well. Listen to what they have to say. Give work from home permissions. Stop hiring cheap low paid interns.

    Cons

    - Outsourcing.
    - Can be fired very easily
    - Employees are not informed about design and business decisions.

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on technology and service with an eye on business process outsourcing, shared services, and global/international capability.
Equal opportunities must be provided for all.
