I have been working at Oakley full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

IT department is very well run. Good management. Clear work requirements. Good balance of work and personal time. Not much overtime required. Competitive pay. Casual work environment. Can work in shorts and sandals. They don't layoff people even during downturns.

    Cons

They've outgrown the corporate headquarters which makes parking difficult.

I worked at Oakley full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Access to highly discounted eyewear. It looks good on the resume.

    Cons

Severely below-market compensation. Security is disrespectful and treats everybody (except the cute women) as a criminals. Mom-and-pop shop mentality. Many abusive people tolerated by senior management. HR sides with managers, not workers.

    Advice to Management

Fire themselves! Invest in a decent parking structure and not let employees climb the hill every morning and spend 20 minutes of their lunch break driving around to find a spot gasing the environment and wasting time. Stop outsourcing factory labor to companies who hire people with questionable immigration status and who are severely underpaid and cannot sue Oakley directly - there's enough margin in the overpriced eyewear already to directly hire legit people from the job markets.
