I have been working at Oakley full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Casual attire, good group of co-workers, team building events periodically, stable company

    Cons

Salary-not competitive, training is not thorough, management shows favoritism, parking is too far, HR doesn't follow-up with new hires, quality of team building events vary wildly depending on the dept. you work in, little positive feedback from supervisors so you don't know where you stand

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Follow-up with new hires within the first year, conduct anonymous surverys, don't make it so obvious that you favor certain employees

I worked at Oakley full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Employee Discount, Clothing Allowance, Great Culture, Great team atmosphere, Great customers for the most part.. it is retail.

    Cons

No advancement opportunities, Upper management will make up reasons to get rid of you if you dont do everything they say.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The Oakley brand has taken a huge hit since Luxottica group took over. The glasses are made extrememly cheap with an 80% mark up. Listen to your employees and stop trying to increase the bottom line at the price of the brand.
