I worked at Oceaneering International full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Great company with a very diverse product and service offering. Job was challenging and rewarding, but not overwhelming. Work environment was always relaxed and fun.

Cons

Management was always overwelmed due to dealing with other departments shortcomings. This led to a lack of management in their own department. Quality control was questionable at times and showed no signs of improving.

I have been working at Oceaneering International full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Managers are always willing to listen, company has great benifits

    Cons

Having to account for every penny spent even if it is required to fullfill job expectations

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quality is better than quantity. We sometimes need to spend the money to make money. The bottom line is important but a great reputation is better.

I worked at Oceaneering International full-time

    Pros

Great compensation. I received a salary that was more than I expected. Benefits were also good. The contracts Oceaneering gets are pretty exciting.

    Cons

I was not assigned enough work, and the work I was assigned was not challenging enough. Most of it did not require a college degree at all. I was not successful at working on the projects I wanted to work on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Accommodate your most talented young people, or they may leave your organization.
