Pros

Culture improving. Support from management is good but could be better.

Cons

Annual reviews not strong and hard to improve compensation from gained training/ school experience. History of low to no raise annually.

Advice to Management

Impliment a strong annual review process and provide raises based on improvement and contribution to company goals and profits. Performance based bonus would be nice addition.

    Pros

Friendly Staff most times when they're not thinking they're better than others.

    Cons

Employees are becoming just numbers, losing small business nature fast. Headquarters shifted to Houston which now treat the former headquarters in Morgan City as "red headed step children" and get all the important jobs. Contract employees are lured with high wages and promised long term employment which ends much sooner than told. Contract employees are treated unfairly with no benefits. When they're with you, you're done, finished, leave the facility at once.

    Advice to Management

Be more committed and treat employees as people not like tissue. It's becoming a place to learn then leave for a better salary with better companies than stay. Try keeping who you have and keep them happy. Give contract employees full-time opportunities to continue.

    Pros

Good company with great brand recognition and market share
Very competitive pay for some positions
    International footprint is excellent

    Cons

Managers are less educated than subordinates and lack ANY management skills
Company fails to identify bad managers by high turnover and strong employee dissatisfaction
Morale is very bad under certain manager & that person is very condescending, aggressive & unorganized
People do not speak up against pervasive disrespect and the lack of integrity
Managers have little managerial development and there is no real performance review for those bad managers and their detrimental actions in the IT organization - SCM Cost Accounting

    Advice to Management

Get rid of managers that put the core ideals of company in jeopardy and remove the employee disrespect. Many good people exit company due to bad management and lack of basic respect.
