“This would be a good job for a college student.”
I have been working at Office Depot part-time for more than a year
Pros – Flexible hours. Working with technology products is cool. The job itself is easy. Incentives for providing customers excellent service.
Cons – I don't get enough hours. Small raises are only given once a year. Pressure to sell protection plans, get people to sign up for rewards card, sell stamps, get customers to take the survey, and sell additional items. Sometimes it is really slow, especially at night. Management can be rude. Difficult customers. Policies not being adhered to.
Advice to Senior Management – You should give more hours to loyal employees.
