Pros

good work life balance, and flexible with your schedule.

Cons

empty promises of being told you will be on the sales floor, but get stuck at being on register
being called out on things like not offering paper correctly.
being corrected for not doing your job correctly in front of customers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

learn to treat employees with respect and pay them better than minimum wage and maybe they will stick around.

Current Employee - Impress Associate  in  Lewisville, TX
Current Employee - Impress Associate in Lewisville, TX

    Pros

•Managers willing to work around hours •Most associates are good to work with •Impress Associates have more freedom than Sales Associates •Most managers are very friendly. •Good atmosphere

    Cons

•Very high expectations with image editing skills for comparability very low pay. •Understaffed and have to turn customers away. •Want to spend "quality" time with each customer but just not possible with only one Impress associate •Want to say too much to every customer making them mad at associate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

•Advice to store leaders - More, more, more one on one training with each associate on and off sales floor. •Advice to above store leadership - Be more reasonable with store leaders and plan ahead a few extra days to give managers more time. •Don't make an associate work almost full time just so they wont get full time, it hurts morale and our feelings •Regarding Impress - Adding one more $8/hr associate will allow the department to handle extra customers that otherwise leave which pays for their own salary plus puts more money into OMX banks. They can even go onto the sales floor is there are no customers in Impress. Just some advice from some nobody $8 associate.
