    I worked at OfficeMax part-time

    Pros

    Fabulous co-workers
    Understanding managers
    Good hours of operation

    Cons

    Wages aren't very high
Customers can be very frustrating when there aren't enough cashiers available
The store is practically dead until the week before school starts, and then the lines go to the back of the store

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work, but place more cashiers on registers during the busy season.

I just asked God to be with me through it all because it was a very unfair experience

I worked at OfficeMax part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Local and area customers were actually great people to deal with...inner city locale with a huge diversion of prospective shoppers

    Cons

The store manager was terrible. He catered to certain individuals(especially whites) in a different way like they were holding something against them if he didn't do what ever they asked. He didn't hesitate to tell the black ones "no" and I found this somewhat disturbing. He even had more trust in a former key carrier(older white lady) than the ones he currently has(young black men)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you are going to pitch in the ball game, let's try throwing some balls across the plate sometimes instead of curves & "knuckleballs"

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
