    Very disappointing place to work

    Pros

There are nice people here, just not in any positions of authority. They do have great benefits but hardly worth the commute all the way to New Jersey. If you can find another bad advertising agency closer to New York, I'd work there first.

    Cons

If you like office politicians, dishonesty, mentally ill supervisors and a corporate mantra that is total crap, then you'll love working here. They have the lowest level of talent and management experience and are VERY hostile toward women. Worse, many of the women are hostile toward women. Not a good place to work for anyone serious about their career or a healthy work-life. Very dysfunctional group to say the least. good people don't stay here long.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire an employee as a spy to work at your agency and report back to you what really goes on there. Senior management wastes so much time and plays so many games that there must be a more sane way to run a business. The hostile work environment toward women is going to catch up with the company sooner or later. I predict your talent pool will also dry up as jobs in NY become more abundant when the economy turns around, which it will, hopefully, really soon.

    Pros

    - Diverse collection of bright people
    - Opportunities to advance and assert yourself
    - Casual environment with appreciation of work-life balance
    - Solid benefits package

    Cons

    - Training opportunities can be limited
    - Compensation is not the highest in the industry, but not the lowest either
    - Clearer paths to advancement would be helpful

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Turnover is okay and necessary at times, but when you lose good people for nominal monetary gains, you end up paying more in the long run
