Great talent and fun environment, poor execution and dysfunctional internal operations, terrible pay disparity for women

Executive Assistant (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsNice new building. On-site fitness center. Excellent cafeteria. Roof-top deck. Several employee groups and regular events.

ConsLocation is far from mass transit, undefined salary/review/promotion structure. Favoritism abounds. Many high-level managers getting by with "just enough" work mentality. Extremely long hours and low pay for junior staff, especially women and minorities.

Advice to Senior ManagementMove from the old "creative" environment. Hire a top-notch COO and establish best practices, especially with managing human resources. Embrace and implement diversity practices and merit based promotions/pay increases. More diverse creative department critical.
