I worked at Ogilvy & Mather

    Pros

    Free Starbucks and nice building.

    Cons

I thought the place was strange when i when for an interview and they asked me if i would be ok with wearing pajamas to work on "pajamas day"!! i like to think of my self as a professional with a masters degree, not someone who wears pajamas to work. but i needed a job. Let's just say the interview was the normal compared to how the place is ran.

My advice: do yourself a favor and find a better job. You cant really get much worse.

I worked at Ogilvy & Mather full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good Benefits - hopefully they won't change too much next year. Great people who really work hard to try and make the company successful.

    Cons

If you're not considered "talent" or management don't expect to get any respect or RAISES. The entire culture of this place changed after Miles Young came in. It's just one big boys club - there is hardly any more women in leadership roles - they all left or were laid off. Sad.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More accountability for management, a CEO who is actually visible and an HR department that is functional.
