I have been working at Ohio University

    Pros

Low cost of living, summers off, pay is competitive, low stress, good benefits, stable job if you can get tenure, people are friendly, easy-to-manage, small town environment.

    Cons

Isolated, poorly managed, budget troubles, poor leadership and communications, unclear direction, layoffs on the horizon. Good people leave and it seems people who should be demoted get promoted. Seems like many, many people are leaving.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get a new president and decide on a strategy.
