Great place to work, however the management needs to learn how to be fair.

Current Employee – been working at Old Navy

ProsVery flexible hours
Great atmosphere
Very generous employee discount
Fun promos (ex. Flip Flop Day)

ConsHours are sometimes scarce
Lack of training for new employees
Managers display a great deal of favoritism with employees
No room for advancement

Advice to Senior ManagementIf one employee gets an 8 hour shift and another employee asks for one, give it to them. No questions asked. People are willing to work. In my store, new employees get 8 hour shifts while it seems impossible that current employees get them. The management's excuse is "we need coverage for this and for that). As far as favoritism, managers favor the employees who get the most Brand cards and scold you (subliminally) if you don't meet the expectation for that particular day. I enjoy Old Navy and understand that we want to be #1 which I am all for however, you will lose great employees if you don't learn fairness and give people as much hours as they want.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
