I have been working at Old Navy part-time for more than 3 years

Pros

It is a very fun experience, they do a lot to help with non-profit organizations and help people, keep the workplace clean and organized

Cons

Workers complain about employees, annoyingly persistant with selling old navy cards, very fake, they hire so many employees that way they have more "rested people, youll be lucky to get 1 shift in a week and they base how much time you get on how many old navy cards you sell which is ridiculous because most people have one or dont want their credit ruined. NO ROOM TO GO ANYWHERE HERE.

I have been working at Old Navy part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Its incredibly easy, upper management has completely idiot-proofed the entire operation so the work is never hard. If you work on the shipment team you usually get more hours than regular store associates

    Cons

It is almost impossible to just get 20 hours a week, shifts are often times less than 4 hours . Also the scheduling is never consistent, some days ill go in at 3am other times 6pm. It ruins your sleep pattern. Senior management doesn't give a crap about associates only profits and store appearance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire less people that don't care about working and work on developing a team of 10-15 employees who want 20-30 hours a week. The store will look better and the employees will be much happier. I know that there are serious hourly caps each month and that the stores can not exceed them but when employees are only getting like 6 hours a week they are not going to care about their job or their performance. Also if you going to expect

I worked at Old Navy part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Flexible work schedule for students
    Relaxed work environment

    Cons

Customers are a pain. Very inflexible with holiday time off. Company has some ridiculous holiday hours like being open every single day of the year but Christmas.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reconsider your holiday openings. People making the decisions aren't the ones having to sacrifice family time.
