Pros

Great autonomy at the client site.
Able to serve the needs of the client.
Able to develop my own relationships with the client and client management.

Cons

I had little to no contact with other consultants. I expected there to be more communication with the client and with me about my work experience. I felt very much on my own.

Advice to Management

Increase the number of times communication occurs with the consultant during the project. Find out his (her) opinion on how the project is going, and what is needed. Let the consultant know how the client feels about the project. Keep communication flowing.

    Pros

    This is a small consultant company with the majority of the clients in the Chicago area.

    Cons

    Small comany with big comapany ideas. Joined because I thought I would not be a statistic (not the case). Always reason for lok salary increase. Unclear of how client performance relates to bonus or increases. Limited training opportunities. Comapny policies not created to benefit emplyees, but restrict.

    Advice to Management

    It's okay to be a small company. Embrace that. Spend time ilstening to you employees and what they want, instead of telling them what it's going to be...
