Strong company in a very competitive market

Business Development Consultant (Current Employee) Seattle, WA

ProsDecent base salary with a plenty of room for commissionable sales. The products and services are very competitive in the industry, and there are a ton of different services you can bring to the table with customers. The parent company, American Reprographics Company, provides great ongoing training, product development, and marketing strategies for an ever-evolving industry (architecture, engineering, construction).

ConsThe roots of the company are pretty old school, so is its perception in the market place. Though there are plenty of "digital" services to offer, the costs are fairly high considering clients tend to put you in a commodity box and beat you up on price when they're used to just paying for printing. While we have great resources available to us from corporate, the culture at Olympic is definitely on the hoky side and is hard be received and embraced as an innovative product resource to new and existing customers.

Advice to Senior ManagementEmbrace fresh ideas, and don't be afraid to invest in constantly update marketing materials.

If you need a job and not a career, this is it

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Kent, WA

I have been working at Olympic Reprographics

Pros: Non management employees are nice and supportive. Benefits are standard… Cons: Management is clueless now even more since the merger. Company… Advice to Senior Management: Talk to your employees. Let them know up front what… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
