Pros

There were opportunities to learn should you be liked by the upper management. Cross-training is an option which makes the experience more enriched.

Cons

Upper management did not communicate well with lower level employees. There was a 'I'm better than you' feel to some of them.

    Pros

The benefits are great as are the people. The hours are rough.

    Cons

Hours, meetings-there is a meeting about having a meeting.

    Advice to Management

Listen, do not come off so crass

    Pros

Beautiful views and the amenities are outstanding.

    Cons

Very stressful place to work. They say they want to create a "family" environment but don't realize that this is not the way to treat family. You can't depend on a schedule because it is always changing. That is very hard when a person is trying to plan into the future. The management runs it like the military. That is very unnecessary. If the employees were treated right and complimented every once in awhile, they would have loyal employees that would work harder.

    Advice to Management

Quit running the resort like the military. Back what you say...don't contradict yourself. Offer compliments instead of threats and write-ups!
