Started out okay but has deteriorated drastically over the past year.

    Pros

    Generous vacation time and policy

    Cons

Abusive time and attendance policy, no sick leave, no HR support when dealing with abusive managers, poor quality of corporate communication (typos, grammatical errors), offensive Christmas bonus, virtually nonexistent pay raises.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recognize and acknowledge your mistakes. YOU suffer the consequences from your poor decisions; don't just lay off more local pharmacy staff or cut overtime.

I have been working at Omnicare full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Best service model in the business,
    biggest in the LTC scope

    Cons

Have gone through three leadership changes in three years.
New CEO John Workman is a bean counter and while there are benefits he's disconnected as a leader, and comes off arrogate to our team.
New COO New to LTC, expectations out of control, is not a collaborator, does not embrace the arena of ideas. Comes across very cocky.
No upward mobility even for those that have put in time and contributed to the organization. Only the ones at the top get the perks and raises.
The untouchables, there are some in the organization that aren't held to the same accountably as the operators servicing the accounts, time for Omnicare to flush these cubical swatters out and get some motived team oriented support figures.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen. Listen. Listen. There is a reason the company has been susscessfully because people like me and many others have fought to keep it that way, creating waves for the sake of creating waves for calls on wall street alienates your core base, and derails the culture of the company if there is even one left.
