Easy work & No direct customer interaction.

Bad management, low pay, lots of favoritism, demands overtime and unprofessional environment.

    I have been working at Omnicare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Pay is good, but this is my first job at this level. Benefits aren't bad. My techs are the best I've ever worked with.

    Cons

    Every time something changes, it seems like we lose at our branch. We lost additional compensation for being on-call and having to come into work on nights/weekends. A week of on-call can be 90+ hours, and they want us to do more for free. Company promotes itself as employee-oriented, but they do not follow through in the least.

    Advice to Management

    Talk to (and LISTEN to) your staff at each location, not just those running the show at the hub pharmacy. Involve the people in decisions that affect them directly. BE OPEN AND HONEST - there is a significant need to improve communications that should be front and center in all Management's mind.

    I have been working at Omnicare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Wonderful job, for the most part, my coworkers are like a 2nd family. Benefits are better than I have had in the past. lots & lots of overtime available.

    Cons

    No appreciation for anything. No communication! Constantly told many errors are being made, but not told who is making errors or what errors are made. Branches are poorly managed. No room for advancement.

    Advice to Management

    COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR EMPLOYEES! LET THEM KNOW WHEN THEY ARE DOING A *GOOD* JOB, DO NOT FOCUS JUST ON THE NEGATIVE!
