Pros

The pay is good, and the staff is very friendly. Light hours and nobody works past 5 or on the weekends. They are starting to bring in young, sharp talent to balance some of their more legacy employees

Cons

Management's vision and strategies havent always been communicated clearly. This has led to poor execution company-wide. There are potentialy too many managers and not enough doers

Advice to Management

hire smart, young talent that will drive the organization and stop worrying about titles

    Pros

Management team is generally solid and open to listening. Team has made some excellent hires this year. Employees are petty good and its a fun atmosphere. We're using much better systems than we ever have and are measuring everything

    Cons

there is a rift in the organization of the old and new...this has caused some issues with some of the newer employees/managers. Management hasnt been completely open about branch changes, which causes employees to lose trust.

    Advice to Management

Be open and honest about changes in the organization (staff cuts) When you make a decision, stick with it...not everyone is going to have the ability to do things you want and they may not make the cut. (thus the previous posters attacks on the President/GM) just make sure your clear with what you want from your staff.

    Pros

Flexible schedule, telecommuting option, competitive salary for upper management.

    Cons

Male dominated culture, executive team MIA, cross-departmental dysfunction, non-corporate pay quite low, lack of technical resources, no orientation program, little HR support.

    Advice to Management

See the bigger picture and listen to your employees on the front lines.
