It is a fun place with. Plus you learn about the restaurants and Food is Fun.

No forward progress. It seemed that they would rather bring in outsiders rather than promote existing.

I have been working at OpenTable full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The work can be interesting, if you like restaurants. If you're ok just floating by year after year, that's something you can accomplish here.

    Cons

They don't promote from within and they don't give substantial raises without promotions -- so do the math on that one. Definitely not paid a competitive salary.

Also, it's hard to get any major work prioritized.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Next time you're creating a new role, maybe consider what current employees would be a good fit.
