    I worked at OpenText

    Pros

    - Work with industry veterans
    - Connections to some of the biggest companies in the world
    - Wonderful travel opportunities

    Cons

    - Not much room for career development
    - Software is extremely dated and probably not useful if you want to grow as a programmer

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's not easy to move forward with enterprise class software, but most of what's being used is just too old for this company to survive much longer. Software rewrites are a bad idea, but something must be done to keep this company up with the current times.
