I have been working at OpenText full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Good core product, colleagues are the best

Cons

middle management is inept, mainly due to a lack of leadership from the VP level (who are only interested in their P&L)

Advice to ManagementAdvice

too many acquisitions over the last 5 years without bedding in the products to the suite or the new employees to the OT culture. Also, we are people not 'resources' or P&L entries

Doesn't Recommend

Approves of CEO

I have been working at OpenText full-time

    Pros

Some very solid technologies that have great market-share and strong growth potential

    Cons

Big company that has grown through insane acquisition pace. Everything is silo-ed by product group no matter what they say externally and there are numerous competing platforms

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire the CEO, slow down the acquiring and focus on real, organic growth

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
