Pros

The salary is pretty good; the insurance is quite good; the people are friendly; management is pretty easy-going; work hours are flexible

Cons

There's a pretty severe Dead Sea Effect-- lots of dinosaurs just going through the motions; development methodology is Agile in name only; the technical staff is not very skilled; the Architects barely know Java.

Advice to Senior Management

Demand more competency and professionalism; quit screwing around, declare that the company is doing Agile, and stop trying to get concensus from the dinosaurs; pay what it takes to bring in real technical experts as Architects.
